The double room had a cozy bed and all the basics you need. Great spot surrounded by shops and restaurants. Make sure to book ahead because the restaurant gets super busy, but it's totally worth it. Plus, the sea and town are just a stone's throw away! 🌊

I liked the decor of the hotel, fresh and modern. The bed was nice and comfortable with nice bed linen. The bathroom was amazing and we enjoyed using it. You can have a bath whilst looking out at the sea! I appreciated the little touches like the lovely, natural herb toiletry products and the fluffy white bathrobes! Breakfast was delicious, made with high quality, locally sourced food.

The evening menu is not exciting and the restaurant is not open on Thursday evenings.

Very friendly, helpful staff/owners.we stayed an extra night. one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in for a long time.
as with many hotels in old buildings, water pressure for the shower, was not very good.

We have just returned from a two night stay and I cannot ever remember being made to feel so welcome anywhere before. This is a family run hotel and what a little gem it is. The location is fabulous, breakfast wonderful with a good selection, rooms very comfortable, everywhere spotlessly clean and on top of all this, nothing was too much trouble. Keep it up Edgcumbe.
